Who is better suited to talk about what it’s like working at Superlinear, than someone who actually works at Superlinear? In this blog post, we let Joseph, Team Lead and Solution Architect, do the talking.

Joseph has studied neuroscience and computer science at the University of Miami and Georgia Tech, and has over five years of experience in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision across a range of industries. In March 2023, Joseph joined Superlinear as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Now, just over a year later, he leads the large language model (LLM) team. What drives him, you might ask? Well, in this article, Joseph will share 5 reasons he loves working at Superlinear!

1. We get to work on impactful projects daily

“From the outset, I was drawn to Superlinear’s vibrant and collaborative environment, and the potential to make meaningful impact through innovative AI projects. For example, one of my initial projects involved modeling patient outcomes in collaboration with a medical partner. Working on projects that make a real difference is incredibly fulfilling. At Superlinear, our projects are designed to have a tangible impact on our clients’ businesses. From optimizing scheduling to improve operational efficiency for Brussels Airport to using computer vision to aid in conservation efforts, our diverse work aims to improve our clients’ processes and outcomes with AI. Knowing that our solutions make a real difference is a powerful motivator!”
