How can we guarantee the safety and quality of the food we consume?
What new tools and technologies are transforming quality control in the food industry? How can cutting-edge techniques improve both precision and efficiency in production?
Join us for an evening dedicated to exploring the latest advancements in food quality control. This event is designed for professionals in food production, quality assurance, and technology enthusiasts eager to learn how science and innovation are shaping the future of food safety.
About the event: AI and quality control
In the manufacturing and food industries, quality control is of paramount importance to ensure the quality of products and to prevent scrap, rework, or to prevent products of low quality from reaching customers, as this can lead to costly claims and brand damage.
Automated visual quality inspections are being widely adopted to this purpose and show high potential. However, often standard cameras operating in the visual light spectrum are used together with heavy AI models to obtain high detection performance. But in many cases, the value is in the invisible and one has to look outside this visual light spectrum in order to extract the right features that make it easy to distinguish between a good and a bad product.
This AI Talks event will gather speakers that reveal the potential behind spectroscopy technology for quality control in manufacturing and food industry. They will cover the complete development process from feasibility study, over a POC, to a real industrialized solution and future of AI empowering spectroscopy.
